It is narrated by 'Uthman Ibn 'Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) said: (The best among you is the one who learned the Qur'an and taught it to others). (Related by Al-Bukhari).
On the same subject, it is also narrated by Anas Ibn Malik that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) said: (The aquisition of knowledge is compulsory for every Muslim (man and woman). Related by Ibn Majah).
